Reflective Practices in Healthcare

This session addresses the concept of reflective nursing and the related ways
in which healthcare professionals can reach their health education goals with young families, whether working in the home, clinic, or another setting. Reflective concepts based on the Minding the Baby® approach are discussed, along with techniques to assist healthcare providers in addressing barriers that may cause common miscommunication and misunderstandings with families.
